Kubu Wreck
The Kubu Boga wreck is a recent and almost intact shipwreck, deliberately sunk to create an artificial reef. It lies close to shore and is easily accessible from the beach.
The ship is about 40 meters long and rests on a sandy bottom at depths ranging from 18 to 30 meters. Its structure is remarkably well preserved, allowing exploration of different levels.
The wreck is covered in hard and soft corals, sponges and gorgonians. Around and inside it you can find batfish, lionfish, nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, groupers and occasionally blacktip reef sharks.
It is an ideal dive for advanced divers seeking adventure and photography. Visibility is usually excellent and marine life is abundant, making it one of Bali’s most interesting wreck dives.
